Family Portraits

Hello hello, I promised I would not fall into that no-update-the-new-blog trap but but but.... anyway, here is some new work from a family portrait session... We usually get a ton of great images out of these types of photo shoots but this one was amazing by any standard. The boys seemed to absolutely love hamming it up for the camera and had no trouble jumping around looking like they were having fun! On top of that, I was able to get one of my "Glenn Norris" patented HDR portraits of Juliah with her guitar.... and by the way, Juliah has a beautiful singing voice too. All said, our little portrait session was about as perfect as it could be. Take care all!

Happy Thanksgiving All!

We at Glenn Norris Photography would like to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving and bid you safe travels if you are spending the holiday away from home this year.

Marlo, Maia, and I will be spending the days after Thanksgiving with our friends the St. John's of Naples, Maine. Photography is our life, and so our trip is happily a dual-purpose event - good times with friends AND a chance to photo a long awaited family reunion. We will be traveling with the St. Johns to Portland, where we will meet up with the rest of the family and photograph everyone at various beaches and city landmarks (weather permitting.)

We wanted to pass this little reminder on to YOU: Please don't wait for a wedding so that you can get some photos of your family. Our day with the St. Johns is a perfect example of a little creative thinking; add a little hard work and a choice location and you can bring about some wonderful new memories (captured in photos of course!)

Anyway, enjoy your holiday and we will post some shots in a week or so! Glenn, Marlo, and Maia.

p.s. Anyone want to re-unite their family in Ireland, or maybe in Costa Rica this winter? We would love to go!

Welcome

Welcome to our new Blog site. In the next few months Glenn and Marlo will begin posting a few of our thoughts on subjects ranging from photography techniques to ideas on why 'doing what you love' is more important than you can possible know. For now though......

Take care.
